Description: A preparation for ornamental fish (e.g. Koi carps) getting rid of worms such as skin and gills distomes (Gyrodactylus, Dactylogyrus), leeches (Piscicola), tapeworms (Cestoda).
Effectiveness: KOI
MED® Wormex is absorbed by the epidermis of cestoda and trematoda. As a result, the epidermis gets badly damaged and dissolves. The metabolism of the parasite will break down and cause a strong muscle contraction and spastic palsy. The result is the death of the worm.

Description: added to the pond water, the ascorbine acid will enhance the water with vitamine C on a natural basis. It reacts with the water oxygen and makes dehydroascorbin acid and hydrogen peroxide. The latter immediately oxidises and thus lowers the pH-value. These two reactions give an important enrichment to the water.
Effectiveness:
KOI MED ® Water Vital is able to neutralise the water after a treatment with potassium permanganate. This high reduction capacity of the ascorbin acid is due to the endiol group, which can easily be oxidated into a dicetone.

Effectiveness:

Description:
water additive for fish spawn and fish. Improves the water quality and is free from chemical additives, nematodes, pathogenic germs and plant-toxical materials. It softens the water, lowers the pH-value, delays the growth of algae, clears water turbidity and makes for the biological balance. Humic material is also used to improve the water quality because they are linked to heavy metals.
Effectiveness:
humic material acts anti-inflammatory. This is due to sodium and ammoniac humic material, which delay the creation of lipoxygenases of the arachidonic acid cascade. ( This way of the metabolism is very likely to cause an inflammation). The humic materials are also known for their antiviral agents.
